Nancy Bradshaw (BComm, MA, PhD) works as the lead behind Spark and brings in partners where expertise is needed.
With her well-honed consulting skills and her personal experience as an entrepreneur, corporate leader and founder of non-profit organizations, Nancy offers a rare blend of expertise. When she takes on a client, she also brings her infectious enthusiasm for their success and becomes an integral part of their team. Her clients value the fact that she is as committed to their success as they are.
Nancy has been recognized as a leader in the business and non-profit community, with awards from Business in Vancouver’s Top 40 under 40 and Ethics in Action, in addition to being named one of The Vancouver Sun’s Top 25 New Leaders and one of Shared Vision’s visionaries.
Working with very large, high-margin, multimillion-dollar budgets for companies such as OmniLogic/PwC Consulting, SHL Systemhouse and Digital, Nancy has exceeded her targets in her business-development leadership role. She has also served on the editorial board of Business in Vancouver and as a board member for VanCity Foundation, Loving Spoonful and UBC’s Board of Governors as well as on the advisory board for a number of nonprofits. Finally, as an entrepreneur, Nancy has set up three businesses: HOPE Unlimited (a leader in social/environmental innovation, with high sales per square foot), Joyfilled Productions (which generates programs and products to build emotional and social intelligence in children) and Spark Strategies.
Joyfilled Productions has won a coveted Parents Choice award for their bedtime CD that helps children sleep and builds inner resilience and self esteem.
Nancy has been a keynote speaker and host at a number of events including the Social Venture Institute and a number of conferences relating to social responsibility or social and emotional intelligence.
Nancy’s experience extends across all aspects of growing a business—from sales and board management, to growing a healthy and happy team.
